Someone actually tested Tencent's Hunyuan 3D World Model 2.0, and they're saying it can straight-up generate game-ready 3D scenes.

Just saw a hands-on article from Times Online saying Tencent’s Hunyuan 3D World Model 2.0 can now generate game-ready 3D scenes directly.

“Game-ready” sounds hype, but that’s also where it’s most likely to fail — there’s a huge difference between “a scene you can actually drop into an engine and use” and “something that just looks the part.” The article’s title explicitly says “hands-on test” and “generating game-level 3D scenes,” but we need to see the actual project files to judge scale, topology cleanliness, whether it can be baked, and performance.

If it really can generate a usable scene skeleton from a single sentence, that’d be a big deal for teams working on open worlds or rapid prototyping. Has anyone here actually pulled the exported models or tried hooking them into an engine? Would love to hear some first-hand takes.

“Gaming-grade” is just a buzzword to scare people. Let’s see what it actually exports first.

If you can get it running in Unreal Engine, I’ll be seriously impressed.

Same question here, anyone got an exported file?

It’s good enough for building the prototype skeleton, but you’ll definitely need to tweak the final output.

The phrase “game-ready” is the biggest scam—talk to me when you can cleanly import it into Unreal Engine and actually run it.

“Game-ready” is basically just marketing fluff. Come talk about actual deployment once you’ve baked the lighting and cleaned up the UVs.
