6GB VRAM can also run a storyboard-to-video workflow.

There’s a storyboard-to-video ComfyUI workflow worth trying. It uses LTX 2.3 with the Director node, plus Ideogram for generating images. Word is it can run on as low as 6GB VRAM. The idea is to first generate storyboard frames with full creative control, then animate each shot individually while keeping visual consistency across shots, and finally stitch them into something with a cinematic feel.

For an indie dev like me, the biggest draw is the low VRAM requirement—my entry-level card at home can actually try it. Animating shot by shot is way more reliable than generating everything in one go, at least you can control the composition and characters yourself.

But how stable the consistency really is needs real testing—character faces falling apart across shots is a classic issue with these tools. I’ll wait until the author releases the full workflow before diving in.

6GB can run it, a lifesaver for broke devs.

Honestly, frame-by-frame control is way more reliable than generating the whole thing at once.

Cross-shot consistency is the real test.

I’ve been keeping an eye on this storyboard-to-video workflow for a while now.

We’ll have to wait and see if the character’s face gets messed up or not.

Anyone got a diagram for how to wire up the Director node?
