People always think “AI upscaling” means just dropping an image in and clicking a button to make it look pro. Nah, it’s way more than that. Enhancement has a direction—do you want to sharpen the texture, unify the lighting, or fill in details? The approach is totally different.

When I’m working on product shots, I first run a pass with low denoising to unify the material reflections, then lock down the text and logo areas so they stay untouched, and finally upscale the whole thing. Every step is a trade-off—if you’re not careful, the model will just hallucinate away the original info.

Treat AI as an amplifier, not a wish-granting fountain, and you’ll actually get controlled results. How many steps do you guys usually break your enhancement into?
