Someone asked whether to pick ChatGPT or Gemini for generating images. My take is don’t choose between them—it depends on what you’re doing. If you want to chat and tweak, iterating a text description into a visual through back-and-forth, GPT’s conversational understanding and revision flow is smoother, good for brainstorming and finding inspiration.
Gemini has its strengths when combining search and handling real-information scenarios, and its image style leans more realistic and tidy. But honestly, neither of them is as controllable as professional models for serious work—no seed, no ControlNet, no fine-tuning.
I usually use them for early concept sketches, then once I’ve locked in a direction, I go back to SD or MJ for refinement.
