Following up on the dungeon set, ran a close-up of a stone carving for texture reference. Wanted that ancient relief that’s half eaten by time and moss, hard to make out, still dripping with rain — telling a ritual everyone’s forgotten. The blurrier the details, the more it works.
Made the macro shot and cold tones more realistic:
Close-up of a weathered stone carving depicting a forgotten ritual, its details half-obscured by creeping moss and centuries of erosion. Rainwater dripping and trickling down the pitted surface, catching cold light. Dark and mysterious, macro photography, high detail on the moss and stone grain, cold desaturated tones, shallow focus.
Deliberately blurred half the details, it actually reads as more genuinely time-worn that way.
