Does MJ even still have a free trial, don't get my hopes up for nothing

People keep telling me midjourney has a free version, I searched forever and couldn’t find the entry point, registered and it immediately asked me to subscribe. Am I doing something wrong, or did the free trial get killed a while back?

If it’s really gone, are all those “how to use it free” tutorials online just outdated now? I just want to test the waters and see if it’s worth paying for before I commit money.

If anyone’s actually gotten it free recently, speak up, and tell me where to even go for it now. Don’t get my hopes up for nothing.

As far as I know the free trial ended a while back, don’t remember exactly which year

Most old tutorials online are outdated, following them is a waste of time

If you just want to see results first, find something else that generates free images to practice on, then decide if it’s worth it

Same here last time I registered, went straight to paywall, never found any trial entry
