Flat-style park illustration, client didn't ask for it, just doodled for fun

扁平风公园插画,甲方没要我自己先画着玩

Been getting nothing but realistic render jobs lately, got a bit sick of it, so I ran a flat illustration style in Midjourney for a change of pace. That round observation deck in the middle is the visual anchor - drop in the orange-red and all the different layers of green around it just come alive. The biggest surprise was the little figures’ poses - walking, sitting, with kids - randomly generated and somehow every single one works. The tree canopies from the top-down angle are done as color blocks stacked on color blocks, which skipped the detail-picking step that usually gives me the most headache.

That orange hit exactly right, the whole image is carried by it

Kinda has that Japanese poster vibe

The figures’ poses really do look natural, mine usually come out with broken legs

Perfect for a park wayfinding map, park management should come copy this

Nice

How do you prompt for this top-down angle to keep it stable?

The negative space in the tree shadows is well thought out too

路灯和树的比例差一点意思,其他挺舒服的

俯视角我是把镜头高度和俯角一起写死,比只写一个俯视稳得多

The streetlight proportion, I only noticed after you pointed it out, wouldn’t have caught it otherwise.
