When I’m making videos, I often need to slap product placements everywhere—laptop screens, phones, packaging, flat-lay clothing. Used to have to hit up stock sites or buy PSD mockup templates, expensive and slow. Saw a post about generating mockup images with Midjourney, and the prompt structure they gave was pretty clear: first describe the main subject clearly, then specify high-quality lighting, control the camera angle, add keywords for a clean background, and finally tack on a term to prevent over-stylization so MJ doesn’t go wild tweaking details.
I tried a few sets following this framework, and the outputs were way more reliable than random prompts. That anti-over-stylization ending is key—otherwise, it loves throwing in random atmospheric lighting.
The rest of the post was just shilling their template pack, which you can skip; the structure alone is good enough. Mockups need high detail, and MJ sometimes messes up screen proportions, so you gotta gacha-style re-roll a bunch to pick the best ones.
