Not sure if anyone else has run into this: in the same conversation, if you keep making small edits to one AI-generated image — just tweaking the background, adjusting the lighting, nudging the composition — the whole image gradually gets more saturated, contrast keeps climbing, and the colors turn muddy over time.
I don’t think it’s a bug, it feels more like each edit is compressing on top of the last result, errors stacking layer by layer, same vibe as repeatedly re-saving a lossy file — the cumulative effect is unavoidable. My workaround is to save a separate copy of the intermediate result at key points, instead of pushing down one path all the way — if I need a big change, I roll back to a clean version and start over.
Wondering if others have hit this too, and if there’s an easier way to sidestep the buildup.
