Midjourney just dropped a new feature for personalized fine-tuning. As a designer, the most annoying thing is how every image comes out with that same old MJ vibe—clients can spot the generic style from a mile away. If this fine-tuning can actually steer the model toward my own aesthetic preferences and slowly train it to have a personal, recognizable style, that’d be super useful for commercial gigs. At least it’d help avoid that cookie-cutter look everyone’s using.
Not sure how much data you’d need to feed it, how expensive it’d be, or if the style would stay locked in after fine-tuning. But the direction is right—personalization should be the next big thing for tools like this. I’ll wait until it’s stable and then really dig into the parameters.
