Been running NVIDIA RTX with ComfyUI for a while now, and it really feels like having your own local production line. Back when I was generating in the cloud, there was always queuing, credits to burn, and worrying about content moderation. Now the whole pipeline runs on my machine—from loading models to batch exporting, everything’s under my control.
RTX’s CUDA ecosystem plays really well with ComfyUI’s custom nodes, and with xformers plus half precision, my 4090 can crank out hundreds of Flux images without breaking a sweat. What really makes it feel like an assembly line is reusability—I save my go-to workflows for inpainting, upscaling, and face swapping, then just drag them out, tweak a few params, and I’m good to go.
Of course, local setup has its downsides—version conflicts between models and plugins pop up now and then, and you gotta patch things up yourself. But the control you get makes up for it in efficiency. Totally worth it in my book.
