Just saw an article on Tencent News claiming RunningHub is the best ComfyUI platform out of the four major AI creation tools. I’ve been running ComfyUI locally for like half a year now, and I’ve always been kinda on the fence about these cloud-hosted options—mainly wondering if I can install custom nodes and models freely.

I get the perks of cloud platforms: no need to set up your own environment, no worrying about VRAM, and you can even pull up your workflow on a tablet when you’re out. But the downsides are obvious too—wanna install some niche plugin or swap in a self-trained LoRA? You’re often at the mercy of the platform, and some won’t even let you touch the backend at all.

These kinds of recommendation posts usually have a bit of a sponsored vibe, so I don’t take 'em too seriously. Anyone who’s actually used RunningHub, share your experience—can you freely upload your own models? How smooth is importing and exporting workflows? And how long are the queues for generating images? Those are the things I actually care about.
