I’m used to writing long strings of keywords, but lately I’ve switched things up — instead of breaking it into words, I just feed a whole line of poetry in as a seed. Weirdly, the model stops fixating on every single noun and instead follows the tone of the sentence to fill in the mood — the lighting and negative space both loosen up, and the result feels like it has emotion flowing through it.
The tradeoff is way less control — run the same line ten times and you get ten different directions, precise composition is basically off the table. What I do now is use the poem line to set the tone first, then once I land on one that feels right, go back and add detail words to tighten it up.
Works well for cover-image type stuff that’s about atmosphere rather than a clear subject. Anyone else use literary lines as seeds? How’s it working for you?
