Video generation is moving to local PCs, and I'm pretty bullish on the all-in-one 4K direction.

I’ve always felt that video generation would eventually move to local setups, and now I’m seeing people pushing for a one-stop 4K generation pipeline on personal PCs. For someone like me who needs to iterate and test constantly, this direction is a godsend. Cloud stuff is expensive, and waiting in line for each version update is the real killer.

If I can run it locally, no more back-and-forth transferring assets, privacy and cost are easier to manage, and I can tweak storyboards and see results instantly. Of course, the GPU requirements are no joke—whether it’ll actually run smoothly on consumer-grade cards is another story.

What I care more about is whether local and cloud can be integrated: throw the heavy lifting to the cloud, do fine-tuning locally—that kind of hybrid workflow is what’s actually practical.

Local models going open-source is the trend, but 4K really puts a strain on VRAM.

The fact that you don’t have to keep sending materials back and forth is a huge plus for me. Waiting in the cloud queue is such a pain.

Mixing workflows +1, heavy lifting on the cloud, fine-tuning locally.

I swear, they hype up “4K” but when you actually try it, it stutters like a slideshow.
